Fortz is a game duel. You are facing your opponent, a kind of robot, just like you. Your goal is to eliminate it before it is it which kills you! Bonuses are falling from the sky (robots, dogs, ammunition, ...). You must at all costs collect them before your opponent if you want to have a chance to win. Jump on the platforms, use the cannon and shoot your enemy's defenses. When its life bar is empty, you have won a victory point. There are different maps on which to compete, and even a tutorial to get acquainted with the game.
