World War Camp Company is based on a very clear gameplay loop: first you develop your camp, then you send your troops to attack the enemy position, otherwise you risk getting stuck against too strong a defense. The goal is not only to survive the skirmish, you must completely clear the area and take the enemy flag to win. Between battles, you upgrade your soldiers, your weapons and your equipment in the base in order to increase the general resilience and effectiveness of your army. You can also buy different vehicles, such as jeeps and tanks, or hire additional squads to strengthen the offensive push. The hero fires automatically, which leaves the player's attention on placement, the pace of advance and the right moment to go back into combat. Progression is built across several successive locations and on a steady increase in difficulty. Every few levels, a boss closes a cycle, with a much more massive presence and endurance superior to that of ordinary enemies. You must therefore choose carefully how to use your resources, upgrade certain elements as a priority and decide if your camp is ready for the next stage. If your group lacks power, the attack fails or bogs down, which forces you to return to invest in the most useful upgrades. The interest of the game comes from this balance between preparation, offense and adaptation to varied situations. Enemies change, equipment diversifies and the quality of the pacing prevents monotony, even without an elaborate scenario. Have fun!
