Twist Your Path is based on a very clear central rule: your character automatically runs forward on a rotating log, and you must orient this path to keep a clear way ahead of them. First, you observe the approaching branches, then you decide whether to turn immediately or wait a little longer. The whole logic of the game comes from this repeated choice, because failure occurs as soon as a passage remains blocked at the moment the runner reaches it. The score increases during the attempt, so staying alive is your top priority. However, it is not enough to react at the last moment, otherwise the pace will quickly get away from you. You must also read the remainder of the course, understand how the rotation will reposition the path, and accept that a good decision on one obstacle may complicate the approach to the next. Then the game enriches this base with coins to collect during your runs, which sometimes pushes you to take a more delicate trajectory instead of choosing the more comfortable option. These coins are then used to unlock new characters in the selection menu, giving a concrete goal between runs, even when your record still stands. Situations remain varied because the sustained speed and changes of orientation constantly alter your reading of danger. At times you prioritize pure survival, at others you attempt a more ambitious passage to extend your streak while improving your haul.
