STORMHAWK builds its progression around a simple principle: survive a mission, destroy its boss, then keep the rewards you earned to expand your options. First, you choose an aircraft from those available, knowing that the twelve models do not all handle the same way. You then fly through enemy formations, avoiding their fire and positioning your aircraft so that its automatic weapons cover the most threatening targets. You can slow down to tighten your fire when the situation calls for greater precision. Otherwise, if you remain in a dangerous area for too long or misjudge a volley, your aircraft may be destroyed before the operation ends. During a campaign, roguelite-style cards offer choices that alter your route and prevent two attempts from unfolding in exactly the same way. You must choose between effects suited to your aircraft, your scoring style, or the threats ahead. The game also features six variants, including a daily mission that is identical for all participants and a Boss Rush that pits you against all 32 bosses without a break. Your score depends in particular on successive kills: you must maintain the chain to increase your multiplier while keeping a cool enough head to survive. Between aircraft selection, cards, and risk-taking against bosses, every run requires you to adjust your strategy. Have fun!
