Stick - Tactics & Destruction is based on a simple rule: first you must eliminate all enemies present in a level, then you proceed to the next. This foundation quickly becomes more demanding, because the battlefield can be destroyed almost everywhere and both your bullets and your grenades are limited. You cannot therefore act at random. In each room you must assess the order of threats, the layout of obstacles and how to open a path without compromising your safety. If you blow up a wall too early, you may indeed reach an opponent, but you also risk removing your cover and finding yourself under enemy fire. The game thus requires combining reading the terrain, economy of attacks and immediate adaptation to the consequences of your own choices. Variety mainly comes from enemy types, each forcing you to revisit your plan. A turret is not handled like a mobile troop, a worm does not create the same pressure as a shooting spider, and this difference forces you to change pace from one level to another. The rating system adds a second objective, because obtaining three stars requires almost perfect execution with very few hits taken. You can therefore finish a level, then return to it to optimize and find a cleaner, safer and more economical solution. The appeal of the game lies precisely in that margin between simple success and total mastery, where every action has a cost, where every detour can save an attempt, and where failure often comes from an apparently logical but poorly anticipated decision. Have fun!
