Sprunki Adventure 5 is based on an exploration progression in a world transformed by extreme warming, where water has become the central resource. First, you must traverse the different zones to find 15 hidden water bottles. Then you bring them back with the aim of filling a gigantic bathtub, which represents the final goal of your adventure. The search is not limited to scouring the surroundings, as several characters need your help and their quests steer your advance. You therefore constantly choose between continuing your searches, talking to inhabitants, or solving a request that may unlock the next step. Otherwise, you risk going in circles, leaving a useful lead aside, or missing an important access in an already visited area. Gameplay mainly requires reading situations well and adapting your decisions. Some passages demand precise jumps, others require accelerating to cross a larger space more effectively, and sometimes you must interact with an element or a person to proceed. The camera can be brought closer to better examine the environment, which helps spot a discreet path or an object hidden in the scenery. Failure is not presented as a combat, but rather as a slowdown caused by poor exploration, an oversight, or a quest left pending. What makes the game interesting is the variety of priorities: searching, helping, returning, checking, and then heading to another area with a better understanding of the world. Have fun!
