Spaceball Jump is based on a simple rule: you progress from planet to planet in each sector, then you seek to collect all the golden stars in order to open the exit portal. First, you must understand that the jump is never neutral, because the rotation of the planet directly alters your trajectory. You therefore do not only choose when to leave, you also decide from which side of the orbit to launch to obtain the safest angle. Otherwise, you risk falling into the void or hitting a wall of rotating spikes. This logic gives the game a true observational dimension, since success requires reading the environment before acting, rather than chaining attempts at random. Then the difficulty thickens with more cluttered levels, less comfortable distances and sequences of jumps that leave little margin. The player must sometimes aim for an immediately accessible star, or conversely leave it aside to first secure their placement on a better oriented planet. Managing the order of objectives is important, because backtracking can become tricky when obstacles rotate around orbits. The game thus offers a regular variety of situations, between precision passages, more open areas and sequences where you must exploit the catapult effect created by rotation. If you misread the movement, the punishment is immediate, but if you adapt your angle and your tempo, the path becomes clear. Have fun!
