Solar Smash is built on a simple idea: you must destroy planets by choosing the method that will cause the targeted body's complete collapse. First, you select a planet or a moon, then you pick from several weapons capable of damaging it in different ways. The game mainly asks you to evaluate the effect of each attack, because not all of them produce the same result on the surface, the core or the world's overall stability. If you strike at random, you sometimes obtain visible but insufficient damage. Otherwise, by observing already weakened areas, you can concentrate your actions where the planet yields fastest. This logic makes each attempt readable: you immediately see what works, what slows your progress and what you must correct to reach total destruction. Then the gameplay expands with a creative dimension, since you can also design your own planetary systems and customize their arrangement before intervening. It is therefore not only a sequence of explosions, it is also a game of choices, between calmly testing a world's physical reactions, comparing several weapons, or seeking the fastest solution to make everything disappear. Some blockages appear when the planet remains partially intact, with fragments still in orbit or areas that resist more, and you must then change tool or reconsider the targeted spot. The variety comes precisely from these differences in behavior, the chosen bodies and the possible combinations between creation and destruction. You progress by experimenting, adjusting your strategy, and deciding yourself whether you prefer immediate chaos or more methodical demolition. Have fun!
