Sling Chicken is based on a simple but demanding rule: you start from a rung in a barn and you must reach the next one to continue climbing. At first, each launch serves to gain height, as the main objective is to accumulate as many meters as possible before the round ends. Then, at each new support reached, you prepare a new projection upward by evaluating the angle, the distance and the available space. Otherwise, a poorly chosen trajectory sends you into an obstacle and interrupts your progress. The dangers renew as the ascent advances, with spinning saws near some holds, slanted beams, stone blocks, rotating wheels, but also moving obstacles like pills that complicate reading the passage. The variety comes precisely from these combinations, because you sometimes have to aim for a narrow opening, sometimes bypass a moving element, sometimes favor a less direct hold to stay alive. The game is not limited to climbing without thinking, since an opposing chicken progresses in parallel and forces you to manage risk according to your actual lead. You can attempt an aggressive climb to overtake this simulated rival, or conversely choose safer trajectories if you are already in front. Quick matches offer this immediate face-off, while the Coop Climb mode chains five rivals in a row, which changes the rhythm and the management of your mistakes over time. Outside of the climb itself, the rewards obtained are used to unlock cosmetics, which gives an extra objective without changing the basic rules. Failure occurs as soon as you hit a danger or a solid obstacle, and it is precisely this constant threat that makes every decision interesting. Have fun!
