Slime Planet Eater structures its progression around a simple rule: you can only absorb elements that have become small enough compared with your mass. At first, you roam the ground, swallowing grass and flowers. Then your slime becomes heavy enough to consume larger objects, such as fences and the animals living on the planet. Your goal is to clear the world where you are playing completely so you can continue your journey. You are free to choose your route, since no time limit forces you to follow a specific path and no currency complicates your decisions. Obstacles mainly serve to measure your progress. If you try to eat a building that is still too large, it resists and pushes your gelatinous body back instead of causing a defeat. You must then find something else to grow on before returning when the structure can finally be swallowed. This system constantly makes you reassess what is accessible and what must wait. Once a planet has been cleared, you select another one on the galaxy map, with each offering a different setting, city skyline, and progression of objects to devour. As you play, you unlock cosmetic items, including skins, that let you change your slime's appearance without altering the rules. Have fun!
