Orbit Pong is based on an immediate rule: you move a platform on a circular orbit to return the ball to the next participant and cause an error among the others. First, you must understand the objective, to be the first to reach 7 points. Then you must manage the ball circulation with precision, because a point is scored when it ends up touching the outer wall after being returned. You therefore do not merely survive the exchange, you also seek to direct your shots usefully to put the opponent in difficulty. Depending on the situation, you choose to secure an easy return, or on the contrary to attempt a more troublesome trajectory. Otherwise, if your read is poor, you leave too open an angle and the exchange flips immediately. The strength of the game comes from this progressive build-up of pressure. The longer the rally lasts, the more the ball accelerates, which reduces your reaction time, and the shorter the platforms become, which demands even cleaner positioning. Failure often comes when you anticipate too late, when you cover your portion of the orbit poorly, or when the general intensity pushes you to return without preparing the follow-up. In addition to local matches for up to 4 players on a single screen, each round naturally changes character according to the number of participants, since a duel is not read like a three- or four-player confrontation.
