Obby - Sword Hero Adventure first asks you to strengthen your hero in combat, then to use that progression to access more demanding zones and face superior enemies. The principle is simple to understand, but it quickly creates real choices. You attack to eliminate foes, you improve your strength to speed up your victories, and you look for rarer swords to increase your effectiveness. If your power remains insufficient, advancement slows, enemies become too resistant and bosses push you back. You must then decide whether it is better to keep fighting to progress, to explore another zone or to wait until you obtain better equipment. Variety mainly comes from the way all systems interact. First, you recruit companions to support your progression. Then, you develop the hero's abilities to better withstand obstacles. If you neglect these improvements, some stages feel much longer and fights become less profitable. The game therefore constantly pushes you to choose between advancing, strengthening your build and completing your arsenal. Unlocking all the worlds becomes the underlying goal, as each new zone represents an additional milestone with its own oppositions and a new need to optimize your character.
