Miscast builds its gameplay around split-second decisions between two mages who prepare their spells simultaneously. First, you select three abilities from the eight available to create a strategy suited to your playstyle. You can even choose the same spell multiple times, allowing you, for example, to rely entirely on three Firebolts. Then, during the fight, you monitor the enemy's incantation and determine which response will be most useful. An enemy attack can be dispelled, absorbed by Rune Ward, reflected by Mirror, or ignored if you think you can finish your own spell quickly enough. The key decision is therefore not simply whether to deal damage, but when to reveal or conceal your plan. Otherwise, activating a defense at the wrong moment leaves you helpless against the next threat. You can cancel an incantation to lure out an enemy defense, but this bluff fails if the other mage refuses to react or prepares a faster attack. Situations change according to your opponents' tactics and the spell combination you choose. Once you have completed the ladder duels, the Daily Challenge offers the same starting setup to every participant and lets you compete for a place on the leaderboard. Endless Survival, meanwhile, invites you to continue until your decisions finally cost you the victory. Have fun!
