Mine Master
Mine Master is built around two stages of progression: first, you upgrade your tools, then you use them to clear a path through the mine. You combine identical shovels to obtain more powerful models, because the starting tools cannot handle the blocks you encounter for long. Your goal is to dig far enough to complete the objectives set by each level. You therefore need to keep track of what you have and decide which shovels can be combined to improve your ability to advance. Each new area requires steady progress, since descending without upgrading your equipment can leave you facing a layer that is too difficult to break through. You then adapt your decisions to the situation. If your equipment has reached the required power, you continue digging and move closer to the end of the level. If not, you return to merging similar shovels to obtain the tool you need. Equipment upgrades are therefore at the heart of your strategy, helping you overcome successive obstacles without turning the experience into a simple waiting game. The rewards you earn along the way mark the stages you have completed and support your progress toward more demanding depths. Variety comes from balancing the available tools, the objectives to complete, and the increasing resistance of the blocks.
