Merge Builders rests on a very clear loop, but demands real trade-offs to advance cleanly. First, you buy boxes to obtain tools. Then you place identical copies side by side to merge them and create more powerful versions. Next, you assign your best equipment to one of the four builders, who work automatically on the current house. The objective is therefore not only to accumulate items, but to decide which to upgrade, which to send to the site, and when to invest in new boxes. Each building imposes growing needs, which forces you to better optimize your board instead of playing at random. The tutorial serves to lay these foundations before leaving you to handle the rising complexity on your own. Otherwise, you can quickly get stuck with poorly used space or a coin reserve spent too early. The game pushes you to observe the yield of your tools, to accelerate when a good run of merges presents itself, then to relaunch production when your workers lack equipment. Two temporary aids then modify your strategy: activating Efficiency x2 to increase yield, and Auto Open to speed up the flow of boxes without breaking your rhythm. These bonuses do not replace your decisions, because a poor distribution of resources can still slow progression. From the Cozy Cottage to the Grand Mansion, objectives grow in scale and extend an endless challenge where optimization matters as much as construction itself. Have fun!
