In MatchBox 3D - Triple Sorted, you must completely clear a mass of objects before the timer reaches zero. First, you spot three identical items in the pile. Then you place them in the lower panel, where they erase themselves automatically as soon as the trio is complete. This very simple rule structures the whole game, but it comes with an essential constraint: you only have seven slots to store the selected objects. Otherwise, if those slots fill with varied elements without forming a complete series, you cannot progress and the game is lost. The game therefore requires as much attention as anticipation. Your choices rely on reading the field, on the order in which you retrieve objects, and on your ability to avoid dead ends. You do not only look for similarities, you also assess whether an object is likely to be completed quickly or whether it will clutter your reserve unnecessarily. Depending on the pile layout, some decisions seem obvious while others force you to favor safety rather than a promising but uncertain combination. The pace then varies between quick spotting phases and more tense moments, when several types of objects already occupy the seven slots.
