Knife Tower asks you to reach the top of a tower before an opponent by progressively destroying the blocks that block your way. First, you throw your knives into the structure to break the sections one by one. Then, you must take into account a bouncing ball that constantly passes through the shooting area, because if you touch it, your action is thwarted and your progression loses efficiency. The principle seems direct, yet it relies on several constant choices, notably the moment to attempt a rapid series and the moment to slow down to secure a tricky passage. The final goal is to reach the last block before the other climber, making the best use of every opportunity to hit cleanly. The game logic then rests on precision and on managing your earnings. Well placed hits trigger combos, otherwise your ascent remains slower and you let the rival take the lead. You also collect coins during your attempts, which allows you to improve your progression between matches. You can unlock new knives, but also invest in climbing speed, in the reach of chains and in the income obtained. These upgrades change the way to approach the following towers, because some matches reward a very aggressive approach, while others require above all to respect the pace imposed by the ball. Between racing the opponent, managing danger and optimizing your choices, each session offers a clear challenge, quick to understand and varied enough to make you want to start again. Have fun!
