IT LURKS follows a simple rule: survive eight nights by protecting your house from animals transformed into terrifying creatures by a virus. First, you keep an eye on vulnerable areas, especially the windows and the space under your bed. Then, you use your light to determine whether danger is present. If a creature is waiting outside, you must turn off the lights, or it may see you. Your goal is therefore not only to search for the enemy, but also to know when to stop watching it and hide. Each night requires you to manage uncertainty, as you never know what is prowling around the house. You can check regularly to avoid being caught off guard, but overconfident checks may expose you at the wrong moment. Progress is not about eliminating the monsters: you must recognize dangerous situations, change your behavior as soon as a presence is detected, and stay vigilant until the survival period ends. Completing a game earns you points to spend in an upgrade shop to strengthen your skills. Starting points can also be obtained through advertisements. Have fun!

Play using the spacebar to go under the bed or return to bed, Shift to check the window, Z to use the flashlight, X to turn off the lights, and the mouse to interact with visual buttons and objects.
