Fireboy & Watergirl 7 - And Friends is based on a simple idea: several characters must cooperate in a temple full of puzzles to reach the end of each level. First, you observe the room to spot closed accesses, useful platforms and diamonds placed along the route. Then you decide which hero to move first in order to open a path for the others. Some mechanisms require pulling levers, others require pushing buttons to modify the environment. The goal is therefore not only to reach the exit, but also to optimize your route to finish quickly and collect all available gems. If you neglect an element of the environment, you risk blocking your progress and having to completely rethink your strategy. The difficulty comes from the fact that each room imposes its own priorities and that the right solution often depends on the order of your actions. You can play alone or with a friend, which changes the management of movements and the way tasks are divided among the characters. If you play solo, you must think of everything, move each member of the group, ensure that none remains stuck behind a door and prepare efficient back-and-forths. Some puzzles reward logic above all, while others require better timing to achieve a perfect performance. The three new friends expand the possibilities and renew situations from one level to another, which prevents repetition despite a simple rule. Have fun!
