Desert Gunship
Desert Gunship structures your progress around aerial missions in which you must complete an objective before being destroyed. First, you select the most suitable weapon from four options, ranging from a rapid-fire cannon to guided missiles. Then you fly your helicopter around buildings, defenses, and enemy aircraft to eliminate the required targets. A mission may ask you to level a camp, rescue survivors, hold a line during an assault, deliver a bomb to its target, or win an air superiority battle. You therefore have to decide when to engage the enemy, which threats to neutralize first, and how far to expose yourself. Otherwise, an overly direct approach may leave you trapped under crossfire or facing several gunships. The coins and experience you earn allow you to upgrade the helicopter between sorties, opening up stronger solutions for difficult operations. The Tournament offers a different challenge: twelve countries are ranked according to their strength, battles take place across three battlefields, and three difficulty levels are available. A single defeat nevertheless ends your run, making the choice of upgrades and caution in combat especially important. Have fun!
Play using W/S to fly forward and backward, A/D to turn, Q/E to turn left and right, the spacebar to climb, C to descend, the left mouse button to fire, the mouse to aim the camera, 1-3 to select a weapon, X to cycle weapons, N/M to select the next or previous target, or the mouse wheel to switch targets, V to switch between chase and free-look cameras, F to pick up or drop a bomb, L to release the mouse cursor, and H to show or hide the control tips.
