Cars vs Zombies challenges you to survive in arenas where your vehicle must eliminate waves of zombies without becoming immobilized. First, you drive around the area to ram enemies and make use of the available space. Then, you decide whether it is better to keep moving, turn around to clear an exit or focus your efforts on the groups blocking your path. If zombies surround you or the terrain limits your room to manoeuvre, survival becomes more difficult. You have a weapon mounted on the vehicle to attack from a distance when direct impact is not enough. Temporary boosts also help you cross a dangerous area or maintain a useful distance from the crowd. Between fights, the resources you earn allow you to prepare the vehicle in the garage. You can upgrade its characteristics, install armour elements attached to the bodywork and choose equipment suited to your strategy. Several vehicle types are available, encouraging you to prioritise either resilience or mobility depending on the difficulties you encounter. The maps change the layout of obstacles and areas to cross, forcing you to rethink your priorities instead of repeating the same route. Failure can result from an overly ambitious trajectory, a lack of power or a late decision in front of a mass of zombies. You must therefore alternate between destruction, repositioning and preparation to make lasting progress. Have fun!

Play using W or the Up Arrow to accelerate, S or the Down Arrow to brake and reverse, A and D or the Left and Right Arrows to steer and balance in the air, Left Shift or the spacebar to activate the rocket booster, the left mouse button to fire the mounted weapon, the right mouse button to trigger slow motion, and Esc, P, or Tab to open the pause menu.
