Bullseye Idle structures your progress around targets to eliminate and weapons to purchase in order to automate your shots. At first, you hit the targets to take part directly in destroying them. Then, you invest in new equipment that keeps firing without relying on each of your actions. Your goal is to build a firing line efficient enough to deal with the targets while requiring your constant intervention less and less. A sniper rifle can complete your arsenal, while rockets add another presence to the general barrage of fire. Your choices concern when to strengthen your equipment and how to support its automatic operation. If the combined firepower is not enough to bring down the targets quickly, progress slows and you must keep acting while preparing your next purchase. Otherwise, the accumulation of weapons makes the gallery more self-sufficient and frees your attention to monitor the course of the game. Variety comes from this gradual rise, as each purchase changes the balance between your direct involvement and the shots fired by the entire firing line.
