Build Your Backrooms revolves around creating a network of rooms designed to keep visitors moving for as long as possible. First, you use your starting money to place corridors, turns, junctions, and empty offices on your plot. Then guests arrive automatically and choose their paths through the available connections. The more rooms their route contains, the more valuable they become as they get lost on your property. You decide on the maze's overall shape, the length of its routes, and the location of its branches. Rooms can also be removed if your layout does not produce the expected results, allowing you to fix a passage that is too direct or reorganize a cluttered area. Progress also depends on the quality of your domain. There are five visitor categories, from Newbie to Tycoon, and the higher categories only start appearing on a sufficiently developed plot. You must therefore invest to reach this threshold, or your business will remain limited to the least profitable arrivals. Building without restraint can slow your expansion, while a layout that is too simple lets visitors leave after passing through too few rooms. Once you have accumulated enough income, rebirth becomes a strategic choice: it resets your plot, but permanently increases your earnings and grants access to a new biome. You then start over with a more efficient economy, ready to design a more ambitious maze. Have fun!
