Age of Zombies asks you to advance level by level by eliminating the undead before they overwhelm you. First, you must understand the objective of each sequence: survive, clear the area and reach the next stage of this campaign divided into 24 levels. Then the game progressively complicates the situation with environments spread across 8 worlds and types of zombies that do not occupy the terrain in the same way. You therefore cannot play mechanically from start to finish. You must choose where to position yourself, which threat to deal with first and when to take advantage of a short respite to regain control of the space. Otherwise, you risk being surrounded, losing your room for manoeuvre and seeing a simple situation become a trap. The game structure rests on a clear loop: you fight, you progress, then you reinforce your means of action through weapon and ability upgrades. This rise in effectiveness does not remove failure, because decisions remain central, especially when a boss appears or when enemy density suddenly increases. The 7 bosses serve as a test; they require reading their attacks and keeping enough mobility to punish their openings without exposing yourself unnecessarily. At the same time, the leaderboards of the 12 Horde levels give another objective, because it is no longer only about finishing, but also about optimizing your performance over time. The interest comes from that; each playthrough forces you to arbitrate between caution, speed of execution and the search for the best result in ever renewed situations. Have fun!
