In 99 Nights In The Forest, your objective is to last 99 nights in a cursed forest by keeping your campfire lit and gathering the resources necessary for your survival. First, each day represents a limited window of time to explore the surroundings: you chop trees to feed the embers, gather food by hunting animals or foraging plants, and search abandoned structures for rare materials such as stone or quest items. Inventory management is central, as you cannot carry everything, and every choice of priority impacts your future survival. Then, as soon as night falls, the monstrous stag takes the stage: invincible, it can neither be killed nor ignored, only driven back by the light of your fire. If the flames go out, you become vulnerable, and it is then very difficult to regain the safety of the camp. Otherwise, other threats complicate your nights as you progress: organized cultists patrol advanced zones, while even more fearsome entities like the Ram or the Owl stalk the farthest biomes. The game features a class system, each offering distinct passive skills, which forces you to adapt your playstyle according to your role in the match. Each lost child found and returned to camp reduces the number of remaining nights, creating a real trade-off between risky exploration and careful base management. Difficulty intensifies night after night with more numerous and aggressive enemies, requiring rigorous planning so that you never run out of wood or provisions at the wrong moment. Have fun!
